For Example Consider the students from 2017 batch, if they are the first batch to appear for NEXT exam. They need to clear Next1 first, which is their final year exam only. After clearing Next 1 they can go for an internship which is a one year rotatory internship. After internship Next 2 Exam. Whatever they studied in internship will be asked in Next2.It is just a pass/fail type of exam.

NEXT 1 score is valid for 3 Years which means if candidate appears in 2023 for NEXT 1, And if he/she clears exam then only he will be able to go for internship, after internship NEXT 2 exam. If he/she clears NEXT 2 then only he will get a license. NEXT 1 score is considered for post graduation admission. If the score is not suitable for pg admission. He/she need to wait to complete degree and then can appear NEXT 1 Again.

So the basic motto to explain all these things is that students need to take this exam seriously and to start preparing for it from the start i.e. from 1st year itself.
